About Me
My name is Karen Canfield
I run a boutique property management and real estate brokerage built on trust, discretion, and long-term relationships. I intentionally work with a small number of clients so I can provide highly personalized, hands-on service—no call centers, no layers, no handoffs.
Over the past 17 years, I’ve managed a wide range of real-world situations, from seamless tenant transitions to complex, sensitive move-outs where clients quite literally handed me the keys to a fully furnished home and trusted me to take it from there. That level of trust is not given lightly—it’s earned through consistency, clear communication, and follow-through.
I am a licensed California Real Estate Broker and California Certified Residential Manager (CCRM), with extensive experience managing, leasing, and overseeing residential investment properties. My role goes beyond day-to-day management; I act as a strategic partner to property owners, protecting their assets while ensuring tenants are treated professionally and fairly.
My background spans finance, operations, and customer service leadership, with experience managing teams, negotiating contracts, and supporting high-profile clients. Having lived and worked in Argentina, Germany, and the United States, I bring a global perspective, cultural sensitivity, and multilingual communication skills to my work.
